The Secrets of the Sith was a book written by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious in which he recorded his knowledge about the origin and history of the Sith Order. The book covered much of Sidious' own history as a Sith Lord from his time as the Sith apprentice of Darth Plagueis to his political rise to power as Sheev Palpatine.

It also included information on the Rule of Two and its predecessor, the Doctrine of the Dyad, both of which influenced the Sith's beliefs. The rest of the work elaborated on a variety of topics such as the Code of the Sith, the dark side of the Force, Force powers, personal lightsabers, the Jedi Order, the Sith Eternal, the warriors of the dark side, Sith artifacts and relics, Sith worlds, and the Skywalker family.

The book concluded with Sidious declaring the anticipation of his ultimate victory as the Sith Eternal's fleet, the Final Order, prepared to invade the galaxy from the planet Exegol in the Unknown Regions.[1] Shortly afterward, however, Sidious was destroyed along with the Sith fleet in the Battle of Exegol.[2] All the same, the book contained an image of Sidious extracting energy from Rey and Ben Solo,[1] as he did in that final battle.[2] Sidious's recollections were uncovered by the Exegol Excavation Project.[3]
