The Stranger's island[2] was located on Bal'demnic and was home to the Sith Lord "the Stranger" during the High Republic Era.[1] In 132 BBY,[3] Verosha Aniseya was brought to the island by the Stranger.[1]

The island first appeared in the live-action Disney+ television series Star Wars: The Acolyte in the episode "Teach / Corrupt" on July 2, 2024.[1] It is shot and located in Portugal on the island of Madeira.[4]
