Thedit was a male Jawa who lived on the planet Tatooine[1] during the Galactic Civil War. He organized perimeter patrols[2] for the Jawa Chief[3] Kalit's territory. Thedit kept a watchful eye for krayt dragons, Tusken Raiders, and bandits working for[2] Kalit's rival,[4] Wittin. Thedit was an inspiring leader.[2] Even in the indigenous Jawas' simple societies, he still managed to become both a leader and an organizer.[1] Thedit had yellow eyes.[2]

Thedit was introduced on a card for November 1998's Special Edition Limited expansion set of Decipher's Star Wars Customizable Card Game.[2]
