There's No Such T'ing as a 'Stock' Light Freighter, Boy! is a short narrative story published in The Star Wars Sourcebook in 1987. Captain Rars Lefken waxes on about the difference between stock light freighters. It was reprinted in the second edition of the book in 1994.
Plot summary[]
In a bar, Captain Rars Lefken talks to a companion over mugs of fozbeer about light freighters. On his fifth drink, Lefken points out that ships of the same make and manufacture can differ widely after years and decades of operation. Before leaving his companion, Lefken muses that the versatility of the freighters is the reason that the vessels are loved by their captains.
