Theta Squad was an elite clone commando unit, and was part of the Grand Army of the Republic during the beginning of the Clone Wars.
Theta Squad included Taler, Vin, Jay, and Darman. All members of this unit, with the exception of Darman, were killed during the First Battle of Geonosis when they failed to destroy an underground battle droid factory. Most of them died as they entered the foundry. After they failed to destroy the factory, Delta Squad was tasked to destroy it, which they completed successfully.[1]
Darman went on to become part of Omega Squad.
