The third moon of Erai was a terrestrial moon[3] located in the Erai system, a part of the Hangshan sector[1] in the Slice portion of[2] the Expansion Region.[1] At some point long before[3] 3956 BBY,[4] Eralam lightsaber crystals were mined on the moon. When the ancient Sith bombarded the third moon of Erai, much of what remained there became shattered, with the crystals becoming exceedingly rare.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
The third moon of Erai was first mentioned in the 2003 BioWare video game, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Erai system, and therefore the third moon of Erai, in grid square P-11.[2]
