Thrantcills were flying animals that evolved on Coruscant around 100,000 BBY. They had hooked beaks, flat black eyes, lived in flocks, and flew in diamond formation. Every winter they flew to the planet's southern regions.
Thrantcill pâté was a food enjoyed by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Kit Fisto.
