"The treaty. It's so close. It's a big responsibility."
―Princess Fanry in the throne room[1]

The throne room of the Pijali monarchy's royal palace was located on the Inner Rim planet Pijal. The space had pink-tinted windows decorated with stone scrollwork, a tiled floor, and several chairs surrounding a throne. The palace's Grand Hall could be accessed through a set of nearby doors.[1]

In 40 BBY,[2] the Pijali Princess Fanry held court in the room alongside Lord Regent Rael Averross, Minister Orth, and Czerka Sector Supervisor Meritt Col. After Fanry suggested that Pijal could host a future galactic leaders summit, she and Averross discussed the plausibility of the idea, with the pair eventually concluding that the upcoming signing of the Governance Treaty initiative took precedence. Following their talk, the princess, Averross, and her courtiers prepared to leave the throne room and greet Czerka Corporation representatives. However, after being informed by a guard of an explosion destroying a Czerka factory, the group rushed to the palace's Grand Hall to view recordings of the incident.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The throne room appeared in Master & Apprentice, a 2019 novel written by Claudia Gray.[1]
