Behind the scenes[]

Thusa sector in the Star Wars Legends continuity
The Thusa sector was mentioned in the Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide reference book written by Pablo Hidalgo and published in 2025.[1] The Thusa sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where the name was first used in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace. The Online Companion placed Bedlam system and thus[3] the planet[4] Bedlam in the sector.[3] Bedlam first appeared in the comic story "Tilotny Throws a Shape" written by Alan Moore, printed in the 154th issue of the The Empire Strikes Back Monthly comic series[5] published in February 1982.[6] Therefore, "Tilotny Throws a Shape" was retroactively made the sector's first appearance in the Legends continuity.[5]
