Tibrin dictator Suribran Tu wished to remain allied with the Galactic Republic, but his people moved to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems. After Tu used strong-arm tactics to quell the uprising, Confederate Head of State Count Dooku traveled to Tibrin and executed the dictator.
