The tintolive tree was a species of spirate-leaved[1] tree that grew on the Core World of Chandrila. Multiple square kilometers of tintolive forest grew on the foothills located in Chandrila's Gladean State Parks.[2] In 26 ABY,[3] the Jedi Jaina Solo attempted to avoid fellow Jedi Kyp Durron because she believed that Durron would ask her to be his wingmate. Ultimately, Durron was able to find Solo, a fact that the latter ascertained when she saw Durron through the leaves of a group of tintolive trees on a Chandrilan hillside.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Tintolive trees first appeared in Greg Keyes's 2001 novel The New Jedi Order: Edge of Victory II: Rebirth, the second volume of the Edge of Victory Duology, which was itself a part of the series Star Wars: The New Jedi Order.[1]
