Tom Palmer (July 13, 1942August 8, 2022[1]) was a comic-book artist and worked on many Marvel Star Wars comics. His work is included in Star Wars: Luke Skywalker, Last Hope for the Galaxy.

His main area of expertise was inking, and he was the main inker on Marvel's Star Wars series between 1981 and 1985. Before and after his contributions to Star Wars, he was the titular inker for the Marvel comic series The Tomb of Dracula (1973 to 1979) and The Avengers (1985 to 1996), among many others.

In 2017, he returned to the franchise as an illustrator for the young-readers title The Rise of a Hero.
