"I feel pretty good about it. It was an opportunity that arose, and I proposed it, found the artists, and pretty much put the whole thing together myself. It was a great time to be doing Star Wars."
―Tom Veitch, commenting on his work on Tales of the Jedi[2]

Tom Veitch (September 26, 1941February 18, 2022)[1] was a comic book writer. He worked on several titles for Dark Horse Comics, including Tales of the Jedi and Star Wars: Dark Empire. His brother was Rick Veitch.

In 2019,[3] Veitch was writing a book about his work within the Star Wars franchise, and planned to release it that same year. However, at the time of his death, no such book has been released. However, 16 pages were previewed on Star Wars Interviews.[4]
