Torge Gommer was a human pilot who served the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War, flying in Green Squadron as Green Two. Based out of the moon Yavin 4, Gommer was among the forces scrambled for the Battle of Scarif, in which the pilot engaged Imperial forces above the planet Scarif in 1 BBY.

Gorge Tommer flew for the Alliance as Green Two.
The human[1] Torge Gommer served as a pilot in the Alliance to Restore the Republic during its war against the Galactic Empire. Gommer used the callsign Green Two as part of Green Squadron, an X-wing starfighter squadron within the Massassi Group of rebels that were based in the Great Temple on the moon Yavin 4.[2]
In 1 BBY,[3] Gommer walked passed the rebels Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor in one of the Great Temple's hangars shortly after the Alliance Cabinet chose not to launch an attempt to steal the plans for the Empire's Death Star superweapon. Cassian and Erso chose to ignore the cabinet's decision and left for Scarif soon after with their own team of volunteers. When reports got back to the Massassi Group that there were rebels on Scarif, the rebel forces on Yavin were scrambled to travel to Scarif and provide support in stealing the plans.[1]
As an announcement about Scarif blared through the speakers of the Great Temple, Gommer ran with a group of other pilots into one of the structure's hangars and mounted a personnel carrier that then carried Green Two and other pilots through the room. Once in their vehicles, Green Squadron traveled with an Alliance fleet commanded by Admiral Raddus through hyperspace to the Scarif system where upon arriving,[1] Green Squadron engaged Imperial forces above the planet[4] with Red Squadron and Gold Squadron. The Alliance ultimately managed to succeed in stealing the plans and escaping, but not without heavy casualties.[1] A total of fifteen Alliance starfighters were destroyed, mostly from Red or Blue Squadrons.[5]

Equipment[]
Torge Gommer wore an orange flight suit with a white flak vest, a gray flight harness, gray gloves, and a gray Novaldex Diagnostech life support unit. The pilot's K-22995 light flight helmet had dark gray sides, white raised areas, and a red section above the visor. The helmet had a red symbol on each side panel and a gray circle with a jagged red bolt through it above each side of the visor.[1]

Torge Gommer appeared in the 2016 Anthology Series film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,[1] and was identified in the accompanying reference book Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo and named the character via a caption of the helmet[2] Gommer wears in the film.[1]
