Toydarian royal guard

Toydarians served as royal guards, and they were soldiers assigned to protect the King of Toydaria.

History[]

Two of these guards were assigned to protect King Katuunko during negotiations with the Separatists. They were wary of the Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress but did not attack her. When Ventress was ordered to kill Katuunko, they rushed to defend him but were Force pushed and knocked unconscious. Eventually they awoke and joined Yoda, several clone troopers and Katuunko in boarding a Republic gunship.

Later, they attempted to protect Katuunko from Savage Opress when he landed at the palace to kidnap the King for Count Dooku. All of the presiding guards, however, perished at Opress's hands.

Following the king's assassination, the royal guards formed an elite brigade dedicated to hunting down Force-sensitives. The wielded cortosis-lined scimitars and undertook mental training to resist Force powers.^[1]
