Traavis was a Jedi Master and a Senior General of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars.

Like most of his fellow Jedi, Traavis answered the call for Jedi leaders in the Grand Army of the Republic. He led his troops through countless battlefields during the Outer Rim Sieges, most notably on Monhudle, New Bakstre, and Biitu. In the final stage of the conflict, Traavis was commanding Aiwha Squad on Garqi. He was inspecting overcrowded refugee camps when the clones received the command to execute Order 66 and they killed their Jedi leader.
Imperial propaganda led the general public to believe that Traavis was killed while kidnapping refugee children to be trained as Jedi.
Behind the scenes
Traavis was named after Karen Traviss, author of the Republic Commando novels.[1]
