Treetor was a Rodian in the employ of Jabba Desilijic Tiure as a hired thug. At some point, a businessman named Bennova gifted a starship to Treetor. After Treetor and Jabba "split," Bennova hired some spacers to retrieve the ship, believing that it was safe to do so since Treetor was no longer under Jabba's protection.[1]
