Trigger, also known as Studio Trigger, is a Japanese animation studio. Founded in 2011 by Gainax employee Hiroyuki Imaishi, following his success with Gurren Lagann, the company produces animated television series, shorts, and films such as Kill la Kill, Space Patrol Luluco, Little Witch Academia, Darling in the Franxx, BNA: Brand New Animal, and Promare.[1]
Trigger partnered with Lucasfilm on the Disney+ series Star Wars: Visions. The studio produced two short films in the series, "THE TWINS" and "The Elder."[2]
