- "There are millions of Stennes…but a rare few are Stennes Shifters. We are the privileged, for we can shade the eyes. We can shade your mind."
- ―Trinto Duaba
Trinto Duaba was a male Stennes Shifter from Stennaros who lived during the time of the Galactic Civil War. He was capable of blending in with large masses.
Biography
Trinto was one of many citizens of Tatooine who turned lawbreakers and other criminals over to Imperial authorities.[1] He was at Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in Mos Eisley on the fateful day that Han Solo, Greedo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, and Chewbacca were there.[2] Duaba was sitting next to Momaw Nadon.
Behind the scenes
Duaba was known as "Terminal Man" during the production of A New Hope. Despite fan speculation, Chris Trevas revealed that Salo Gardner only portrayed Trinto Duaba in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, whilst the original appearance of the character was actually portrayed by a US-based extra and that the mask itself was made by Rick Baker[3] prior to Star Wars, as his interpretation of the Frankenstein Monster.[source?]
The character was made into a Hasbro action figure in 2009, as a two-pack with Dice Ibegon. The figure featured cybernetics on the sides of his head.
