- ―Tuktee
Tuktee was a male Togruta from the Expansion Region planet Kiros.
Biography
During the Clone Wars, Tuktee and his entire colony were enslaved by the Confederacy of Independent Systems and handed to the Zygerrian Slave Empire who sent them to their slave processing facility on the Wild Space planet Kadavo. Tuktee and the others were soon joined by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Clone Captain Rex who had gone to Zygerria in order to find and save the Togruta colonists, but had eventually been captured by the Zygerrians as well.[1]
While mining ore in the slave processing facility, Tuktee was lashed by a Zygerrian slaver's electro-whip, as it happened to any slave who fell out of line. He and his people were later rescued by the Jedi and Republic forces led by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano.[1]
Behind the scenes
The character of Tuktee was voiced by Matt Lanter in The Clone Wars TV series.[1]
In the original story released by Dark Horse Comics, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Slaves of the Republic, Tuktee could be seen laboring in the slave processing facility and later falling, along with Governor Roshti whom he had tried to save, from a platform above a lava pit, shortly before being telekinetically rescued by the Jedi. In the Clone Wars episode, he was seen being whipped by a Zygerrian slaver in the facility.[3]
