The TurboDyne 99-U engine was a Podracer engine produced by Elsinore-Cordova Engineering prior to the Invasion of Naboo. It was piloted by Wan Sandage.
Characteristics[]
The TurboDune 99-U was a surprisingly maneuverable Podracer considering its size. Boasting strong acceleration, traction and airbrakes it could handle winding courses well. It also had a good boost package to compensate for its slightly lacking top speed, though its repair mechanism left something to be desired.[2]
