"I recovered this item at the site of the Typhojem Excavation."
―Reginald Danfillo notes where the Smuggler's Guide was discovered on Pashvi[1]

The Typhojem Excavation was an archaeological dig that took place on the Grand Causeway on the planet Pashvi during the reign of the Galactic Empire. During the dig, Senior terrain trekker Reginald Danfillo of the League of XenoExplorers collected Quesoth pottery shards and a piece of tapestry dating to the Neo-Middle Secundus.[1]

Danfillo also discovered the book that became known as the Smuggler's Guide at the site, where it had fallen next to the corpse of its previous owner, Tryphon Leo after he was crushed by a falling rock approximately seventy meters along the causeway while searching for the Shrove of the Left-Handed God Typhojem. Danfillo then wrote about the discoveries made at the excavation in the book, noting a thrall of the deity Typhojem in an image of the Excavation included in the book.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The Typhojem Excavation first appeared in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, which was written by Daniel Wallace.
