Warning: This infobox is missing the following parameters: otherlife Tython was a planet located in the galaxy's Deep Core and shrouded in myth.[1] Some Jedi scholars made a case for Tython as the location of the Jedi Order's first temple alongside other candidate worlds such as Coruscant, Jedha, and Ossus[3], before the location of the first temple as well as the birthplace of the Jedi Order was proven to be Ahch-To.[4]
Behind the scenes
Tython was first mentioned in the 1998 Star Wars Legends video game Star Wars: Rebellion,[5] and first appeared in the 2007 novel Darth Bane: Rule of Two.[6] In the Legends continuity, Tython was the original homeworld of the Je'daii Order[7] and its successor organization, the Jedi Order.[8]
Tython was introduced into canon through a map created for the 2016 roleplaying game Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game.[1]
