The Ubese were a sentient species[3] that spoke Ubese.[1] Originating from the planet Uba IV, the Ubese were notoriously isolationist, rarely conducting trade with off-worlders. When an Ubese was exiled from Uba IV, their identities were removed from Ubese public record, and they were unable to return and reintegrate into their society.[2]

Leia Organa impersonated the Ubese bounty hunter Boushh[3] when she infiltrated the palace of Jabba the Hutt.[1]
