Ulric Tagge was a human male who served as Head of Public Relations and Messaging at the Tagge Corporation during the Galactic Civil War. A member of the House of Tagge, he was an older brother of Domina Tagge, who sat at the head of the company.

Behind the scenes

Ulric Tagge first appeared in the Star Wars canon via imagination in the fifth issue of the 2020 comic book series Star Wars: Doctor Aphra (2020). He first appeared in-person and was first identified in the 2021 comic War of the Bounty Hunters – Boushh 1.

In Star Wars Legends, Ulric Tagge was initially meant to be Cassio Tagge from the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope before inconsistent continuity between products led to StarWars.com's Databank to confirm that Cassio died in the Death Star's destruction and that Ulric was his surviving brother. Cassio surviving in the new canon as shown in the 2015 comic book series Star Wars: Darth Vader and his role within the comic was meant to be a reference to Ulric.
