"Legend has it that one of the leaders of the Ahia-Ko, who we call the first gardener of Akiva, planted all of the trees by hand. And this was the first tree that sprouted."
―A farmer to Kay Vess about asuka trees, while in front of Salea's Hand[1]

A leader of the Ahia-Ko known as the "first gardener of Akiva" was rumored by local legend to have planted all of the asuka trees on Akiva. The legend went on to state that after her death, she was laid to rest beneath the first of the asuka tree to sprout. Afterward the tree began to bloom red flowers instead of the standard blue.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars Outlaws. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon.

In 3 ABY,[2] a local farmer recited part of the legend to an offworlder named Kay Vess.

Behind the scenes[]

The leader was first mentioned in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. She is mentioned during an optional conversation, not part of any quest, that the player can start with an farmer while in front of the Salea's Hand in Myrra Valley.[1]
