A human^[1] First Order Special Forces pilot served on the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer^[2] Thunderer,^[3] reporting directly to the vessel's commanders.^[4] In 34 ABY,^[5] after Lieutenant Tamara Ryvora's squadron had jumped from their star system for supposed training, the First Order pilot went to the Thunderer's bridge and notified Commander Pyre and Agent Tierny of the unit's departure. When Tierny asked for the squadron's whereabouts, the pilot replied that long-range sensors indicated the unit had traveled to the Castilon system.^[2]

The pilot wore a black flight helmet^[2] bearing the signature red markings denoting their status as a member of the First Order Special Forces.^[6] They also donned a black^[2] vac-suit with life support equipment installed as well as black boots.^[6]

Behind the scenes[]

The pilot first appeared in part one of the two-part episode "The Escape,"^[2] the finale of the second season of the animated television series Star Wars Resistance, which aired on January 26, 2020.^[7] Their voice actor was uncredited in the episode.^[2] Concept art was created for the pilot by Lucasfilm Animation artist Colas Gauthier on October 25, 2018. Their model was sourced from "pilotTieA" with the addition of red stripes on the helmet.^[8]
