A regiment of the Grand Army of the Republic participated early in the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance. The infantry regiment was made up of at least two ARF troopers, a commander and a lieutenant, being considered the regiment's best scouts. The two were dispatched with a Nu-class attack shuttle to track down a group of bounty hunters on Teth during the Battle of Christophsis.[1]

The regiment first appeared, albeit unnamed, in the animated theatrical film Star Wars: The Clone Wars[1] which was released on August 15, 2008 in the United States[2] and was directed by Dave Filoni.[1]
