A Geonosian warrior fought in the First Battle of Geonosis[2] in 22 BBY,[3] at the outset of the Clone Wars between the Republic and a separatist group known as the Confederacy of Independent Systems. A Republic LAAT/i gunship was hovering above the ground to deploy a clone trooper and clone commando RC-1138, so the two could rappel down. The Geonosian warrior flew behind the trooper and the commando, seeing this, tried to warn the other clone. Before either Soldiers could react, the Geonosian grabbed the clone trooper and flew off, killing him by dropping him to the ground.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Geonosian warrior's only appearance was in the LucasArts first–person shooter Star Wars: Republic Commando, which was released for PC and Xbox on March 1, 2005.
