A male Gungan harvester served the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars on the planet Drongar.[2] Around 20 BBY,[1] the Gungan harvested bota, a local plant that was able to cure several diseases, for the Republic. However, during his work, the fumbly-fingered Gungan unintentionally activated a pulse bomb he carried on his bota hopper. The following explosion killed the Gungan, destroyed the vehicle, turned a section of the landscape into a crater, and caused slight damage to the nearby Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7, a Republic military hospital.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Gungan was first mentioned in MedStar I: Battle Surgeons, a novel written by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry and published on June 29, 2004.[2]
