"Unlike the so-called "Shadows" the Order used in its meagre attempts to track the Sith in [Krynda Draay's] time, my agents are shadows indeed. Their identities erased, literally, from the Jedi Order's rolls—so they might give their whole effort in service to our mission."
―Lucien Draay, on the Covenant Shadows[src]

In 3963 BBY, a male individual of the Ho'Din species was a member of the Covenant Shadows. Like all of the Shadows, he was formerly a member of the Jedi Order until all records of his existence were erased from the organization's rolls in order that he could dedicate his life to serving the secret Jedi Covenant. The Covenant existed to predict and prevent the return of the Sith, an order of dark side users, following their defeat at the Great Sith War. The Ho'Din was one of a number of Shadows displayed on a screen by Covenant member Lucien Draay for consideration for a mission to the planet Taris; ultimately, fellow Shadow Celeste Morne, a Human, was selected for the task.[1]

Personality and traitsEdit

The Covenant Shadow was a Ho'Din,[1] a reptilian sentient species distinguished by tresses of vibrantly-colored head tendrils.[2] He had green skin, yellow eyes, and blue and green head tendrils. Like all Jedi, he was Force-sensitive.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

This individual was created for Knights of the Old Republic 25: Vector, Part 1, published by Dark Horse Comics in 2008. The comic issue was written by John Jackson Miller, pencilled by Scott Hepburn, and colored by Michael Atiyeh.
