- "Wow…I wanna check his midi-chlorian count."
- ―The barfly, noticing Rako Hardeen
During the Clone Wars, a barfly hung out at Trueping's, a cantina on the planet Coruscant. Around 21 BBY, the young Human female noticed the bounty hunter Rako Hardeen as he entered the bar, and she subsequently attempted to attract his attention until they were interrupted by a droid claiming to represent his employer.
Biography[]
- "This cantina is a bust…You wanna go to the next one?"
- ―The barfly, to Rako Hardeen
In 21 BBY,[2] during the Clone Wars, a young Human woman noticed as bounty hunter Rako Hardeen entered Trueping's cantina on the planet Coruscant and asked the bartender for a shot of their finest drink. Slipping out of her chair and joining Hardeen at his side, the barfly inquired as to the occasion. The bounty hunter answered that he was celebrating having killed a Jedi Knight, Obi-Wan Kenobi, much to the delight of the bar's patrons. Eventually, she tried to convince Hardeen to go to another cantina with her, but was interrupted by a servant droid, which claimed Hardeen's employer had his payment, and the hunter followed it into the back room—but not before ordering a round of beverages for all present. She was later present as two Jedi, Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano, entered the bar looking for Hardeen; the Jedi hauled off an individual all present assumed was the bounty hunter, but was actually Kenobi in disguise on an undercover mission to infiltrate the Republic Judiciary Central Detention Center and investigate a kidnapping plot against Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.[1]
Personality and traits[]
A young woman with long, black hair, blue eyes, and pale skin, the barfly wore form-fitting clothes and tall boots, and colored her lips blue. She had already taken interest in Rako Hardeen before he spoke a word, an attraction which grew as she perceived his wealth and reputation.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The barfly first appeared in the fifteenth episode of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series' fourth season,[1] titled "Deception,"[3] which aired on January 20, 2012. She was voiced by Ashley Eckstein, the actress who also portrays series regular Ahsoka Tano.[4]
