During the Great Galactic War between the years 3681 and 3653 BBY,[1] a Sith military commander led a portion of the Sith Empire's armada in an effort to take the Brema sector from the Galactic Republic. During the battle over Ord Ibanna, the Sith's fleet took heavy losses and the commander was ultimately killed. In the aftermath of the commander's death, Rycus Kilran, a non-Force-sensitive Human tactical advisor, took command of the fleet and led it to victory over the Republic.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Sith commander was first mentioned in Rycus Kilran's entry on The Holonet, an online database of background information on the upcoming LucasArts video game, Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Holonet is available on The Old Republic's official website. The commander was later mentioned in Kilran's codex entry in Star Wars: The Old Republic, which was released in 2011.
