"The Imperial ship's about to land! We've got to do something."
―Luke Skywalker[1]

An unidentified Imperial fighter craft was used by an Imperial commander and four stormtroopers to pursue a Rebel scout craft to the surface of Keeper's World during the Battle of The Keeper's World.

Description[]

"We've just been spotted-- by a fighter craft from the Imperial fleet!"
―Luke Skywalker[2]

The shape of the exterior of the Imperial fighter craft was identical to that of the TIE/LN starfighter, with two broad solar panels on either side of a ball-shaped hull. However, the ship was much larger, allowing it to transport four passengers, plus one pilot.[1]

History[]

"Commander-- we have finally located the unidentified starship which escaped our tractor-beams before."
―Imperial Navy trooper[3]

The Battle of The Keeper's World began in space, but the Rebel scout craft piloted by Luke Skywalker soon crashed on the planet below.[4] After discovering the wreckage, the Imperial commander boarded an Imperial fighter craft with a complement of four stormtroopers to pursue the Rebels.[3] One of the stormtroopers piloted the craft.[1]

After The Keeper sent her planet into cataclysmic uproar, the commander and his stormtroopers retreated back to the fighter craft and escaped the planet, returning to the fleet.[5]

Commanders and crew[]

"Stormtroopers! Stand by to land on the unidentified planet below!"
―Imperial commander[1]

The Imperial fighter craft was commanded by an unidentified Imperial commander during the Battle of The Keeper's World.[1] The ship also carried a complement of four stormtroopers, all of whom survived to retreat from the planet after the battle.[5]
