- "Get on board the Falcon, kid – this place is gonna blow!"
- ―Han Solo

The space station, attacked by Imperial TIE Fighters
An Imperial space station orbited a planet along with at least two other stations of the same kind.
Characteristics
Edit
One of its hangar bays held several starfighters, including three Z-95 Headhunter, two Rihkxyrk Attack Ships, a M12-L Kimogila heavy fighter, as well as two AEG-77 Vigo transport ships and a passenger shuttle.
History
Edit
In 1 ABY, a small battle erupted on the distant station. A young spacer was held captive by the Empire on board of the station. When smuggler Han Solo, his Wookiee co-pilot Chewbacca and the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO helped the spacer escape, Imperial starfighters opened fire on their own station. The Millennium Falcon barely escaped the station's destruction and the pursuing Imperial ships under Darth Vader's command, including two Star Destroyers. The Falcon's crew shot down several TIE Fighters before they jumped into hyperspace, heading for Tansarii Point Station in the Bright Jewel system.
Behind the scenes
Edit
- "On a distant Imperial Space Station, a smaller battle erupts over the fate of a single being's destiny, yours . . . ."
- ―Star Wars Galaxies opening crawl
This space station is the place where the new player tutorial of Star Wars Galaxies starts. The player's character "wakes up" in the medical bay and learns the game's basic controls. In the corridor outside the medical bay, the player then meets Han Solo, Chewbacca, and the droids and is led to the hangar bay, where he can shoot several stormtroopers. When the player enters the Millennium Falcon, a movie sequence shows the destruction of the station and the Falcon's escape. After the movie, the player takes over one of the Falcon's turrets to shoot down TIE Fighters, followed by another movie sequence showing the ship as it reaches Tansarii Point Station.
