A Vagaari Miskara who led the Vagaari Empire and its people made contact with a representative of the "Far Outsiders,"[1] the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong species,[2] by 23 ABY. The Vagaari agreed to help the Yuuzhan Vong with their invasion of the galaxy which would also destroy the Vagaari's enemies, while the Vagaari in turn began incorporating the Yuuzhan Vong biotechnology. After the invasion, the Vagaari captured territories once occupied by the people killed by their allies.[1]
