Unidentified Mon Cala creature

The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A creature lived in the oceans of the planet Mon Cala. During the Battle of Dac City, two of these creatures were deployed by King Lee-Char, jumping above the water's surface and crashing back down, creating a large wave that destroyed Dac City. Similar incidents occurred planet-wide, resulting in the destruction of all surface cities, and forcing the Galactic Empire to rely on aerial landing platforms.^[1]
