"The Bonbraks were reassembling me in a Nihil warehouse when we heard your Scarlet Skull broadcast for the first time."
―V-18[1]

A warehouse operated by the Nihil pirates was located in the Occlusion Zone, a region of the Outer Rim controlled by the Nihil during the High Republic Era.[1] In 229 BBY,[2] the droid V-18 and three BonbraksBreebak, Teetak, and Tip—planned to cross into the Occlusion Zone as they were worried for Jedi Padawan Ram Jomaram, who was trapped on the planet Valo under Nihil occupation. As part of their plan, the droid was disassembled by the Bonbraks and placed inside multiple shipping boxes aboard a Nihil black market cruiser.[1]

After arriving in the Occlusion Zone, the Bonbraks reassembled V-18 in the warehouse. While there, they heard a broadcast from the "Scarlet Skull"—an alias Jomaram operated under—that had been intended for the droid. Once he and the Bonbraks reunited with the Padawan on Valo, V-18 told Jomaram and his companions of how he had been put back together in the warehouse and that they had heard his broadcast while there.[1]

Behind the scenes[]
