"Commander!"
"Yes, captain?"
"Prepare all cannons, and send the droids to their battle stations."
"Yes, sir. Um, Captain, are we under attack?"
"No, but if Skywalker's records indicates anything, he'll be back."
―Mar Tuuk and the OOM command battle droid[2]

During the Clone Wars, an OOM command battle droid served as a commander within the naval forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems as part an orbital blockade above the planet Ryloth under the command of Neimoidian Captain Mar Tuuk.[2] In 21 BBY,[1] the OOM command battle droid participated in the blockade's defense against a Galactic Republic fleet led by Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, who was to break through the blockade and transport relief supplies to the surface. However, after forcing the Republic to withdraw from their assault, Tuuk ordered his droid commander to prepare their Lucrehulk-class Battleship's cannons and send the battle droids to their stations in the expectancy of Skywalker's return.[2]

Shortly after, Skywalker returned aboard the damaged Venator-class Star Destroyer Defender, which the droid was present for a false negotiation between the Jedi Knight and Tuuk. In response to the Defender's collision course with the Separatist command ship, the Neimoidian fled his flagship in an escape pod and left the OOM command battle droid and the other battle droids to perish.[2]
