The combat medic Archiban Kimble, better known as Doc, knew of the spa from his time on Ord Mantell, but several years later he was uncertain as to whether the spa had been destroyed in the ongoing Separatist War between Ord Mantell's government and the Mantellian Separatist Movement.[1]

The spa was first mentioned in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game released by BioWare and LucasArts in 2011, within the message "Date night" from the Jedi Knight class's companion character Doc. The message will only be sent to female players who are pursuing a romance with Doc.[1]
