While in a local bar, a moisture farmer who lived on the planet Tatooine[1] in 14 ABY[2] overheard a conversation about the Disciples of Ragnos, a cult of Dark Jedi who were attempting to return the dead Sith Lord Marka Ragnos to life. The moisture farmer told R5-D2, his R5-series astromech droid, to record the conversation. However, the farmer became fearful of reprisals from the cult and sold the droid to a clan of Jawas before moving away.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The moisture farmer was first mentioned in the video game Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, which was released in 2003.[1]
