A Theelin worked as a merchant in Rebunda City on the planet Petris Major.[1] By around 482 BBY,[2] they heard tales about the Jedi Wayfinder Tar'ak Borran. When Jedi Master Barnabas Vim came to Petris Major to search for Borran, the merchant told him about the stories they had heard.[1]

The Theelin merchant appeared in a flashback in the second issue of the 2024 comic miniseries Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures – Echoes of Fear. The issue was written by George Mann and published by Dark Horse Comics[1] on October 9, 2024,[3] as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase III.[1]
