A type of arthropod was native to the Wild Space world Mulita.^[1] In 231 BBY, the sentient carnivorous plants^[2] known as the Drengir weaponized the arthropods to act as guards for them during the joint Jedi Order and Hutt Clan assault on Mulita.^[1]

The arthropod appeared, albeit unidentified, in the eighth issue of the 2021 comic series Star Wars: The High Republic,^[1] released as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia campaign's Phase I.^[3] The issue was written by Cavan Scott, illustrated by Ario Anindito, and published by Marvel Comics on August 11, 2021.^[4]
