A variety of tree with blue leaves and twisty trunks grew in the hot, swampy marshlands of[1] the Core Worlds planet[2] Chandrila. The trees exuded mist and formed most of the landmarks in the area that were visible to Princess Leia Organa during a pathfinding trip to the area[1] around 3 BBY.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
The tree was mentioned in the 2017 novel Leia, Princess of Alderaan, written by Claudia Gray as part of the Journey to Star Wars: The Last Jedi media series.[1]
