A civilization was in existence before the year 3641 BBY, by which time, the civilization had been extinct for a long period of time. At some point, a Hutt had formed a large collection of cultural artifacts from the civilization. By 3641 BBY, the Hutt's son, Zirchros had obtained the artifacts and had kept them a secret up to the time he was dying in his medical facility.[1]
While Zirchros was dying, an individual came and talked with him for some time. Zirchros told the individual about the artifacts from the civilization, and the individual took the artifacts back to a person they worked with.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The civilization was first mentioned in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a 2011 MMORPG released by BioWare. It was mentioned in the archaeology crew skill mission entitled "Memoirs of a Crimelord" which was available for players of both the Sith Empire and Republic factions. In a crew skill mission, the player would send one of their companions to complete the mission, but due to the mission being available to all classes it was unknown who met with Zirchros. As a reward for the mission, the player received some lost artifact fragments, which were the artifacts from the civilization. Due to the game saying that the civilization had been dead for a long time, it was impossible to determine when the civilization existed.[1]
