"My deputy minister of trade, perishable goods, was in a suite above mine. I shot her in the foot while she was entertaining a guest."
―Jagged Fel[src]

A female deputy minister of trade was stationed at the Galactic Empire Embassy on Coruscant around 43.5 ABY. Her position with the Imperial Remnant made her responsible for perishable goods. When an attempt was made to kidnap Imperial Head of State Jagged Fel, Fel fired his blaster into the ceiling multiple times to trigger the building's alarm. The deputy minister of trade was entertaining a guest in the room directly above, however, and Fel accidentally shot her in the foot, causing her to scream and curse. However, the shots did attract help, and the attempted kidnapping failed as a result.[1]

Behind the scenes

This deputy minister of trade was first mentioned in the 2009 novel Fate of the Jedi: Backlash, the fourth book in the Fate of the Jedi series, written by Aaron Allston. To date, she has not appeared or been mentioned elsewhere in Star Wars canon.
