An elite squadron was active within the Imperial Starfighter Corps of the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War,[1] which lasted from 0 BBY to 5 ABY.[2] The squadron utilized TIE/ag "Aggressor" Starfighters. It was particularly active in a sector of the galaxy with Rebel Alliance activity and managed to destroy several Alliance squadrons.[1]

In response to the losses, Sector Command,[1] an Alliance Military branch,[3] tasked a group of individuals to eliminate the squadron's pilots.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The elite squadron was first mentioned in the 2020 roleplaying game sourcebook Starships and Speeders, in an adventure seed for use with Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying. This article assumes the completion of that scenario.[1]
