The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

An eccentric entrepreneur financed an expedition into the Maw, a cluster of black holes[1] in the Outer Rim Territories' Kessel sector[2] by 3643 BBY.[3] The purpose of the expedition was to attempt to chart a course through the Maw.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

Around that year, an individual affiliated with one of the two rival governments in the Cold War, fought between the reconstituted Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, sent a companion of theirs to join the expedition. The entrepreneur's journey into the Maw resulted in many previously uncharted star systems and worlds being catalogued while mapping a course.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The entrepreneur was mentioned in the Crew Skill mission "Into the Maw" in the 2011 BioWare video game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[1]

  3. Per the reasoning here, Act I of Star Wars: The Old Republic takes place around 3643 BBY. Since players of The Old Republic can assign their companions on the mission "Into the Maw" independently of the main class storyline at any point during the game, the mission must take place at some point around 3643 BBY.
