A human tribe lived on the planet Sorgan[1] by circa 9 ABY.[2] A peaceful tribe of krill farmers, it consisted of men, women, and children living in a village of primitive structures, with limited amounts of droid technology and only a small amount of weapons for protection. The grandparents of Caben, one of the farmers, helped seed the ponds with krill, which took generations to come to fruition. The tribe showed some uniformity in the clothing worn by its members, which was predominantly dark gray and teal in coloration.[1]

SWCC 2019: 9 Things We Learned from The Mandalorian Panel on StarWars.com (backup link) establishes that The Mandalorian is set about five years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 4 ABY. Therefore, the events of The Mandalorian must have taken place around 9 ABY.
