A modified DUM-series pit droid worked at the bar at Tanda's Cantina aboard a space station above the planet Suria. Sometime around 18 BBY, the droid interacted with the rogue Clone Force 99 members Hunter and Wrecker as they searched for bounty hunter Fennec Shand.

Biography[]

A modified DUM-series pit droid^[2] was manufactured by Serv-O-Droid.^[1] The droid once functioned as a regular pit droid but began working at Tanda's Cantina aboard the Suria space station^[3] above the planet Suria^[4] by around 18 BBY.^[5] The droid served at the bar at the cantina and broke up brawls amongst the patrons.^[6]

Sometime around 18 BBY,^[5] the droid was tending the bar at Tanda's, carrying a bottle from individual to individual. As the rogue Clone Force 99 members Hunter and Wrecker entered the cantina in search of the bounty hunter Fennec Shand, a Gotal dismissed the droid. The pit droid took notice of the newcomers and walked across the bar top, meeting them. After a brief conversation, the droid pointed towards Shand. As the droid departed, a nearby Arcona waved the server back. The droid obliged and poured a blue drink into the guest's cup. Nearby, an Aqualish and a Pantoran fought over a bottle, with the latter shooting the former and claiming the bottle. As the winner raised the bottle in triumph, the droid chirped and took the bottle, using it to knock the troublemaker unconscious.^[7]

Characteristics[]

The modified droid had a black visual sensor and brown plating, with light gray plating around the both the rim of its dome and the sensor.^[2] The repair droid^[1] wore a tall, tan hat with a pair of goggles around the brim.^[2] They spoke through a series of chirps.^[7]

The pit droid first appeared in "Bad Territory,"^[7] the eighth episode of the third season of the animated television series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which premiered March 20, 2024.^[8]
